Welcome to Healing Waters Ministry (HWM), a Christ-Centered, Bible Teaching Church. We are excited you’re here and look forward to getting to know you and you getting to know us. HWM was established in 1991 in the heart of the South Valley in Albuquerque, NM. While much has changed over the years, we are delighted at the spiritual growth God has cultivated here. We are also thankful that God continues to bring others into our church, including you.

 

It is a blessing to serve God together with brothers and sisters of all ages, backgrounds, and occupations. We pray that God will use all of us to fulfill the calling He has on our lives and to grow our church family and reach our community as God leads. As you get to know us as a church, we trust you will be encouraged to discover your purpose and find your place in the Body of Christ. Whether it is HWM, or someplace else, our prayer is that God would show you where to commit yourself in service to Jesus Christ and His church.

Our Sunday service is dedicated to the study of God's Word, prayer,

worship, and fellowship. Our casual atmosphere and family feel is inviting for anyone regardless of who you are or where you come from.

 

Worship

The opening portion of our service is spent worshiping the Lord through music. As a church, we enjoy singing both timeless hymns that have long been a part of the Christian tradition, as well as introducing new music and singing new songs that Jesus is giving to His church.

Bible Teaching

We are firmly committed to explaining the Bible and pointing people to Jesus through simple, clear, and relevant Bible teaching. Our Sunday sermons are verse by verse, chapter by chapter, through whole books of the Bible.

Children & Youth

Pre-K through 8th Grade can attend an age specific class for worship and teaching or they may also join their families in the sanctuary. A designated room is also available for nursing mothers. We encourage students in grades 9-12 to attend the worship service with their families.
